Walaa Elsayed is an experienced educational leader, coach, speaker, and author with over 10 years of experience in education across the UAE. She currently serves as Head of Arabic and Islamic at Dubai British School Jumeira, where she leads Arabic, Islamic, and culture-related provision with a strong focus on school improvement, teacher development, curriculum alignment, and building high-performing teams.
Walaa holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from The British University in Dubai. She is also an accredited Strategic Life Coach, a certified Cognitive Coach, and trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, NLP, behaviour change, and the RESOLVE coaching model. Her leadership practice is grounded in trust, psychological safety, reflective dialogue, and the belief that sustainable school improvement begins with developing people, not only systems.
She has delivered workshops for educational networks and wider professional communities, including sessions on women in leadership, workplace conflict, tough conversations, wellbeing, and first-year leadership.
