Vandana Agarwal, NPQH, is an experienced educational leader with over 17 years of experience in the UAE, specialising in school improvement, curriculum innovation, assessment, and student achievement. Currently serving as Head of Curriculum and Assessment and Head of Student Achievement at Sama American Private School, she has led transformational initiatives that have strengthened teaching and learning, improved student outcomes, and contributed to significant school improvement.
Holding NPQH and NPQSL qualifications from University College London, Vandana is passionate about developing future-ready learners through project-based learning, sustainability education, design thinking, and the integration of 21st-century skills. She has successfully established STEM programs, led curriculum and assessment reforms, launched a middle school division, and championed data-informed practices that empower both students and educators.
A returning GESS speaker, Vandana previously presented at the GESS Sustainability Pavilion, sharing practical approaches to embedding sustainability within curriculum and school culture. Her work focuses on creating authentic learning experiences that build student agency, innovation, and lifelong learning.
