Toyin Godfrey is Head of Art (Senior School) at Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai, part of the Cognita Group, where she leads Art across KS3 and KS4, overseeing the Pearson Edexcel iGCSE programme.
Having taught across London, San Diego, and Dubai, Toyin brings an international perspective to creative education. She is passionate about making Art accessible, ambitious, and identity-affirming for all learners. Her CPD action research into boys' engagement in GCSE Art, drawing on attainment residual analysis, targeted curriculum intervention, and a structured male artist reference programme has informed a whole-school approach to closing the gender engagement gap in Art.
