Sim Ajay is an educator, researcher, and advocate for sustainable and transformative education with over 14 years of experience in the UAE education sector. Throughout a career spanning teaching and educational leadership, Sim has been dedicated to creating innovative learning environments, empowering educators and students, and driving educational excellence.

As a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Advocate, Sim promotes quality education, equity, inclusion, and sustainability within the education community. These contributions have been recognized through the prestigious AKS Global Teacher Award, honoring excellence and impact in education.

Currently, Sim is conducting research on teacher retention and burnout in the UAE, exploring factors that influence teacher well-being, job satisfaction, and long-term commitment to the profession. The research aims to provide evidence-based insights that help schools develop effective strategies to attract, support, and retain high-quality educators.

By combining classroom experience, educational leadership, advocacy, and research, Sim continues to contribute to the advancement of education in the UAE and beyond, with a strong focus on improving student outcomes and supporting teacher well-being.
