Scarlett GrayEducation Consultant at FFT EducationSpeaker
Profile
Scarlett Gray began her teaching career in the UK, before relocating to Dubai, where she spent eight years teaching in the primary classroom across two British International Schools. At the second of these, she held the role of Head of Phonics and Early Reading, leading the school's approach to reading and supporting colleagues to raise standards in early literacy.
Scarlett has since returned to the UK to join FFT (Fischer Family Trust) as an Education Consultant. She works on a range of literacy and data programmes, including FFT Success for All Phonics and Aspire. This includes developing training materials, guidance and training for school leaders and teaching staff. She supports schools across both primary and secondary settings to strengthen their approach to reading.
Scarlett brings a practical, evidence-informed perspective to phonics and early reading, grounded in her own classroom experience and her ongoing work supporting schools both nationally and internationally.
