René holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration, a BA Honours degree in Psychology, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), which she completed cum laude.

With nearly 25 years of experience in education, she has served in a range of roles, including teaching, administration, and counselling. She began her career in South Africa, primarily at a school founded by my father in 1987, where she developed extensive experience in both educational leadership and student support.

For the past five years, she has been based in Qatar, serving as a Whole School Counsellor and member of the Senior Leadership Team. In this role, she supports the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students while contributing to strategic school leadership and school-wide initiatives.

As a well-travelled educator and counsellor, she is passionate about psychology and education and remain committed to fostering environments that promote wellbeing, personal growth, and lifelong learning.
