Reena is Director of Digital Learning and AI Curriculum and Computer Science Curriculum Lead at GEMS Wellington International School (WIS) in Dubai, where she also leads the school's Robotics programme. With over a decade of experience in Computer Science and technology education, she has built whole-school robotics provision spanning Foundation Stage to Sixth Form, and leads WIS's AI Core R&D Team, guiding staff development on AI tools and their thoughtful, purposeful integration into teaching and learning.
Reena is a strong advocate for inclusive innovation, having launched Robotics for All in partnership with the school's Inclusion team, and for hands-on, competition-based learning through initiatives such as WIS Tech Tank, WIS DRILL and the school's annual Robotics Fair.
Her work sits firmly at the intersection of curriculum design and emerging technology, underpinned by a conviction that the schools who thrive in an AI-enabled future will be those that use it to deepen, not diminish, curiosity, creativity, relationships, ethical thinking and purposeful learning.
