Rana Tamim is a Professor of Educational Technology and the former Dean of the College of Education at Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates, where she also served as Advisor to the Provost. Currently, Rana offers graduate courses at OISE, University of Toronto, and the Faculty of Education, Wilfred Laurier University. Her experience spans more than 30 years in the field of education with an established publication record in top-tier peer-reviewed journals that has earned more than 11,500 google scholar citations as of July 2026
