Michael Taylor is Assistant Head of Primary at Deira International School, Dubai, part of the Al Futtaim Education Foundation. With a career spanning international schools across the Middle East and China, he has built a reputation for curriculum innovation, sustainability leadership, and community-centred experiential learning.
At DIS, Michael leads the school's concept-based curriculum framework and has been a driving force behind Hundred Hives. The project reflects his belief that schools have a responsibility not just to teach about sustainability, but to model and enact it.
Michael holds a Master's degree in Learning and Leadership from Northumbria University and is an ICF accredited performance coach. He is a passionate advocate for purposeful, experience-driven education that connects young people to the world beyond the classroom.
