Marina Pochinok is a global business leader, independent director and professor of practice with 20+ years of international experience. Her strength is a rare combination of hands-on leadership, corporate governance, academic depth and executive coaching. As an independent director and board advisor, she has twice been named Best Independent Director of Russia (2023, 2026). She has held senior leadership roles at сompanies across fintech, oil & gas (BP), consumer electronics (Philips) and IT (Auriga), served as Vice President of Workforce for the Sochi 2014 Olympic & Paralympic Games (75,000+ people), and acted as an IOC expert across six Games, from PyeongChang and Tokyo to Paris 2024. This experience rests on world-class education: a PhD in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science a Corporate MBA at INSEAD, Strategic Innovation in Business at Saïd Business School (Oxford) and Strategic HR certification from Thunderbird complemented by Prosci, NeuroChangeSolutions, Immunity to Change (Kegan) and the Leadership Maturity Framework (Cook-Greuter).
Today she teaches at several University and Business schools, writes as a Forbes columnist and is the author of three books on leadership.
