Maria Sayyed is a senior educational leader based in Dubai with extensive experience across international curriculum design, programme coordination, and data-driven school improvement. She currently serves as the Deputy Head (post-16), IBDP and IBCP Coordinator, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Raffles World Academy Dubai, one of the UAE's leading IB World Schools.

Maria holds roles as an IB Examiner and Assessment Author, and is a content writer for Kognity, Sweden. She is an upcoming presenter at the IB Global Conference in Lyon 2026. Her work spans timetabling, teacher deployment, recruitment, curriculum oversight, and multi-year results analysis across both the Diploma and Career-related Programmes. She has developed comprehensive assessment tracking frameworks that bridge coordination and strategic leadership, enabling schools to move beyond surface reporting toward genuinely actionable data.
