Profile
Jacques Tredoux is Group Principal of the British International School of Kurdistan (BISK) in Erbil, Iraq, and an outspoken advocate for disciplined, leadership-led AI adoption in schools. With over twenty years in education across Southern Africa and the Middle East, he previously served as Principal of Azzan Bin Qais International School in Oman with the ABQ Education Group.
At BISK, a leading British international school with students of 38 nationalities, Jacques has driven strong A Level, IGCSE and College Board results, the pursuit of MSA and CIS accreditation, and a Real Madrid Foundation partnership. He chairs MSA accreditation visiting teams and holds an MBA alongside his educational qualifications, while completing his PhD.
His GESS session shares why he made AI a compulsory, accountable layer in how teachers plan lessons and how leadership runs quality control, offering school leaders a candid, replicable model for moving from permissive to purposeful AI adoption without losing the teacher's professional judgement.
