Iwan Adhicandra is the Head of the Informatics Department at Bakrie University in Indonesia and a seasoned academic with more than 20 years of international experience in the UK, Italy and Australia. He holds a PhD in electrical and information engineering from the University of Sydney, and a postgraduate degree in data communication from the University of Sheffield in the UK, and has conducted research at the University of Pisa and the University of Sydney. As Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE,) Iwan actively contributes to research in wireless communications, artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity. He also leads strategic collaborations, curriculum development and national initiatives in higher education and digital innovation.
