Dr. Hunada Kanbar

Dr. Hunada Kanbar holds a PhD from the University of Sharjah and currently serves as Education Advisor to the Director General of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA). She previously served as the Founding Chief Learning Officer and Assistant Professor at Sharjah Education Academy. With over 25 years of international experience across the UAE, USA, Canada, the UK, and Saudi Arabia, she has held leadership roles including Change Management Advisor, School Improvement Advisor, Educational Consultant, Efficacy Reviewer, and Associate School Inspector. Hunada has contributed to the development of national education frameworks in school inspection, evaluation, digital transformation, and AI in education, and has inspected more than 300 schools. She is an accredited leadership coach and certified teacher trainer by Pearson Edexcel. She has presented research on Change Management at the AERA Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado (2025), and The Algorithm of Success at the ERAS Conference in Singapore (2022). Her research interests include educational leadership, AI in education, learning analytics, organisational change, and evidence-based education reform.
