Emily is the Global Founder and CEO of The Safeguarding Alliance, an organisation dedicated to improving safeguarding practice and protecting children and adults at risk worldwide.

Passionate about raising standards across sectors, Emily works to promote a culture where safeguarding is understood, prioritised and embedded into everyday practice. She believes that every child and adult at risk deserves to live free from harm, abuse and neglect, and to be treated with dignity and respect. As Emily often states, "Safeguarding is not just a policy or procedure. It is a commitment to protecting the dignity, wellbeing and future of others."

Emily holds a master Degree in Law & Legal Practice and is currently undertaking a PhD in International Child Protection Law.
She has worked across the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, the Middle East, North Africa and the ASEAN region. Emily also chairs the British International Schools Coalition , bringing together education leaders to address emerging global safeguarding challenges in education.

A recognised safeguarding specialist, Emily has contributed to the UK Education Select Committee and international media. Most recently, she campaigned for a landmark change in UK safeguarding legislation known as Della's Law.
