Emily Griffin is Deputy Head of Secondary at FirstPoint School, where she leads teaching and learning initiatives and staff development. Prior to her current role, she spent four years as Head of History and Politics at Jumeirah College and has over 12 years of leadership experience across schools in both the UAE and the UK.

Emily is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning, literacy, curriculum design and delivering meaningful professional development that encourages genuine teaching conversations and helps move the profession forward. Throughout her career, she has held a range of middle and senior leadership positions and is particularly interested in building collaborative cultures where staff feel supported, challenged and empowered to grow.

Known for her practical and people-centred approach to leadership, Emily enjoys working with educators to develop strategies that are both impactful in the classroom and sustainable for staff and schools alike.
