Profile
Dr. Eman ElKaleh is an Associate Professor and Head of the Data Analytics, Policy, and Leadership Division at the Emirates College for Advanced Education in the UAE. Her research examines how leadership theory, curriculum, and organisational practice can be re-rooted in non-Western, particularly Islamic, cultural contexts. Before joining ECAE, she held senior administrative and academic roles at UAE University, Zayed University, and the University of Wollongong in Dubai. She holds an MBA from the University of Wollongong and a PhD in Management, Leadership, and Policy from the British University in Dubai.
Dr. ElKaleh research focuses on sustainable and balanced leadership, culturally responsive educational policy and practice, and making education a profession of choice among young people. She is co-editor of volumes on culturally sensitive research methods, internationalising leadership curricula, and teaching leadership in Muslim countries. She reviews for education and business journals and serves as an invited keynote speaker and lecturer. Through her teaching, research, and consultancy, Dr. ElKaleh advances leadership paradigms that combine ethical stewardship, cultural relevance, and long-term institutional effectiveness in the Arab world and beyond.
