Daniel Hagstedt is a Founding Member at Magma Math and serves as VP EMEIA, leading strategic partnerships and market expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Over the past decade, he has helped establish and scale Magma’s presence across Sweden, the UK, Germany, the United States, Canada and the UAE. His work has included leading implementations in Stockholm, Glasgow, Cardiff and some of England’s largest academy trusts, and collaborating with policymakers and government stakeholders on education improvement.

Daniel is passionate about politics, public policy and the role technology can play in solving society’s biggest challenges. He believes that strong societies create opportunities for individuals to thrive, and that data-driven decision-making allows institutions to move from reactive interventions to proactive improvement.

A frequent speaker and podcast guest, including appearances on The Olympic Mindset and Best in Class, Daniel enjoys exploring similarities and differences between education systems across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, identifying what regions can learn from one another to improve outcomes for future generations.

Outside of work, he is a passionate musical theatre enthusiast.
