Chloe Jreije
Student AI Innovator | Co-Founder at Dubai American Academy | PathoScan
Speaker

Profile

Chloe is a eleventh-grade student at Dubai American Academy and co-founder of PathoScan, an AI-powered cancer detection system that uses a convolutional neural network and microbiome analysis to identify colorectal cancer earlier, more affordably, and more inclusively than conventional methods. By incorporating non-invasive stool sample data alongside tissue analysis, PathoScan removes the need for expensive colonoscopies, bringing early detection to communities historically underserved by healthcare. Passionate about AI, healthcare, and biomedical engineering, Chloe believes the most powerful thing a school can do is transform students from passive consumers of technology into purposeful creators of it.

Her work has earned recognition at the highest levels of student innovation: PathoScan reached the semifinals of the UAE's Top Young Innovators competition and won the ISTE + ASCD competition, selecting her as a presenter at ISTElive 2026 in Orlando, a major world premier education technology conference. A practiced public speaker and TED Talk alumna on AI in healthcare, Chloe's mission is simple: ensure the technologies of tomorrow are built by everyone, and accessible to all.
