Chiara Marini Gilpin is a multilingual educator and language programme specialist with 20 years of experience working in international schools across Asia and the Middle East. She has taught Italian, Mandarin, and French, developing a deep understanding of both first-language and additional-language learning.

Alongside teaching, Chiara has held academic, leadership, admissions, and marketing roles, giving her a broad perspective on how different areas of a school can work together to support students, families, and the wider community. She has designed and led language programmes from Early Years to IB Diploma, with a focus on curriculum development, assessment, teacher support, and creating meaningful language pathways for diverse learners.

Fluent in Italian, English, and Mandarin, Chiara brings a global perspective shaped by more than two decades of international experience. Chiara believes that effective language learning happens when schools create a shared vision and when every language is valued as part of the learner’s identity and journey.
