Agathe Jameson

Principal at Kids Island Nursery

Speaker

Agathe Jameson has spent nearly three decades in early childhood education and still believes that some of the most important learning happens when adults know when to step aside.

Following in the footsteps of her mother Isabelle, founder of Kids Island Nursery, Agathe has spent 27 years championing play and questioning a system that sometimes seems more concerned with documenting childhood than allowing children to experience it.

Now through Play & Beyond, she continues to challenge conventional thinking, champion children’s capabilities and remind educators that meaningful change doesn’t have to be complicated.

Sometimes it simply starts with doing less, trusting more and remembering what childhood is really about.
