Adewunmi Payne-Akinhanmi is a highly experienced, award-winning SEN educator with over 17 years supporting learners aged 0-16 with diverse needs such as SpLD, Autism, SEBD, Down’s Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. She holds a BSc in Zoology from the University of Ibadan and three postgraduate degrees in SEND and inclusive education from the University of Lagos, the University of Wolverhampton, and UCL’s IOE. Adewunmi has worked extensively within British international schools using the English National Curriculum and has led inclusive programmes, developed policies, and implemented tailored interventions. She is a renowned international trainer, sharing expertise with educators, SENCOs, parents, and support staff across the UK, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Egypt, the US, and UAE, inspiring best practices worldwide. Adewunmi actively participates in conferences, delivers workshops, and serves on the Board of Kingscourt Learn Resource SEN Institute Nigeria. Her global training, practical approach, and dedication to inclusive education continue to influence teaching practices and improve outcomes for learners with SEND.
