Profile
Aderemi Adekunle is an Assistant Headteacher, English specialist and public speaker with a passion for communication, identity and student voice. Drawing on his experience of leading curriculum, literacy and inclusion, he champions an approach to education that goes beyond academic attainment to help young people discover, develop and own their voice. His work explores the intersection of oracy, storytelling and belonging, arguing that communication is not simply a skill to be assessed but a fundamental part of identity formation.
Through curriculum design, leadership and extracurricular initiatives, Aderemi has developed practical strategies that enable students to communicate with authenticity, confidence and purpose across all subject areas. Committed to bridging educational research with classroom practice, Aderemi’s sessions are thought-provoking, practical and immediately applicable. He challenges educators to rethink the role of voice in schools, asking not only how we teach students to speak, but how we create environments where every young person believes their voice is worth hearing.
