Dr. Adel Ali Hasan Al-Zebari is an Associate Professor and Head of the Information Technology Department at Akre University for Applied Sciences, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology with a specialisation in Cybersecurity and an M.Sc. in Communication Network Planning and Management from the University of Portsmouth, UK. Author of over 30 peer-reviewed publications spanning cybersecurity, machine learning, and AI, Dr. Al-Zebari has led hands-on AI/ML training programmes, including a three-month Data Science and Machine Learning bootcamp with the Rwanga Foundation. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK.
