Ms Abir Sadek is the Head of Inclusion at Dubai Schools Al Barsha and an experienced educational leader with over 15 years of experience in Australia and the UAE. She specialises in inclusive education, supporting Students of Determination (SEND), multilingual learners, and Gifted and Talented students.
Throughout her career, Abir has led the development of inclusive policies, intervention programmes, and whole-school strategies that promote equitable access to learning and positive outcomes for all students. She is passionate about creating learning environments where every learner can thrive and reach their full potential.
Her expertise includes SEND provision, English as an Additional Language (EAL), gifted education, assessment, staff development, and educational leadership. She has successfully trained educators and support staff in evidence-based inclusive practices and has played a key role in strengthening inclusive cultures within schools.

Abir is a strong advocate for inclusion, believing that diversity enriches learning and that effective inclusion benefits every member of the school community.
