Year 10 Student - Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai
Rhys is a Year 10 student at Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai, currently studying for his IGCSEs. He has a strong passion for the Performing Arts and Drama, recently taking on the lead role of Miss Trunchbull in the school’s production of Matilda Jr.. Rhys is also the lead singer of one of the school bands and is studying History, Performing Arts, and Music as part of his academic pathway. Beyond school, he trains at Italia Conti, a renowned drama school, and enjoys reading in his free time.

As a preview to, and to help inform, the BSME Wellbeing and Belonging Conference on 18 April 2026, Matthew Savage - international educational consultant and Director of The Mona Lisa Effect® - will chair a panel of wellbeing senior leads from across the BSME network, to explore how best we can weave webs, and evolve ecosystems, of wellbeing and belonging in our schools.
