Aarti

Aarti was born in Dubai and completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She went on to earn her Master's in Psychology from United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain. Aarti has worked in the capacity of school counsellor for nearly 20 years, during which she has supported both primary and secondary students in navigating the everyday challenges that impact wellbeing and learning. She works with young people to develop their confidence, regulate emotions, and build positive communication skills.

Aarti is deeply passionate about promoting mindfulness as a tool to help students better manage their emotions, build self-awareness, and cultivate greater compassion for themselves and others. She champions peer mentoring and believes in giving students a voice to help them become more confident and resilient.

In addition to student support, Aarti works closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance on managing behavioural and emotional challenges common in both early childhood and adolescence. She follows a compassionate and practical approach, focusing on strengthening family communication and connection to help bridge the gap between children and caregivers so that everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.

Whether supporting a student with social difficulties, emotional overwhelm, or helping them set goals, Aarti is committed to creating inclusive, nurturing environments where all young people can thrive and truly belong.
