The countdown for GESS Turkey – the Global Educational Supplies and Solutions Fair - begins!
Stakeholders across the Turkish education industry come together in Istanbul - to establish new cooperations, purchase new technologies and share information, as well as to learn about innovations in the education field.
According to official data, more than one million teachers are employed in the primary and secondary education levels, where approximately 18 million students are taught in 686,800 classrooms. According to the most recent data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the annual total of educational costs exceed TL 176 million. With the number of students and teachers, as well as the educational costs, the Turkish Education Sector represents an enormous market: GESS Turkey 2020 will feature the different solutions, systems and applications offered by local and international companies for this industry. GESS Turkey 2020 will take place at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Centre on April 2-4, 2020.

The Directorate General of Innovation and Educational Technologies, and under the sponsorship of Bahçeşehir and Ugur Educational Institutions and Arçelik, will host the Turkey Educational Technologies Summit at GESS Turkey 2020 for the first time, upon signing a protocol with the Ministry of National Education.

At the event, where the pulse of the industry beats, education specialists can see the latest products, technologies, services and applications in place. In addition, local and international professional buyers, public and private school administrators and directors, as well as owners, investors and managers who are authorised to give procurement orders, can have direct contact with suppliers.

The 4th International Turkey ETS was held in Ankara in 2018, with more than 5,000 participants. This year, the Summit will be hosted by GESS Turkey at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Centre, featuring 22 sessions, 110 proceedings, 33 workshops, 5 panels and 12 invited speakers. The three-day Summit will offer participants an opportunity to be informed on new educational approaches and technological
developments, through scientific meetings, proceedings, workshops and panels. Participants will also be able to experience various applications. At GESS Turkey, exhibitor stands will bring together the sector’s suppliers and solution providers with representatives from educational institutions.
