Having held leadership positions in primary and secondary schools before coming to the UAE, Leanne's tenure at SCS and her eight-year stay in Dubai have provided valuable opportunities to contribute to the multicultural landscape. Her academic foundation from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and her National Professional Qualification for Headship from the Centre for Educational Leadership (UCL) have further strengthened her leadership abilities. Leanne's quest for knowledge extends beyond formal education. She has studied effective educational systems worldwide, including an enlightening trip to Finland, where she learned from educators and witnessed their positive impact on students. As the Principal of SCS, Leanne has overseen remarkable growth, including increased student enrollment, facility expansion, and curriculum development. She prioritizes the wellbeing of staff and students, striving to create an environment where every member of the Safa family can succeed and thrive. Outside of work, Leanne is a dedicated mother who cherishes parenthood. Her love for sports, particularly netball and rugby, reflects her dynamic personality. She also finds joy in watching F1 racing.
