The research paper aims to identify the challenges of advanced stream subjects faced by students at Al Shefaa’ Bint Abdullah Girl’s School (Cycle 3, Emirati School). This research will use quantitative and qualitative methods to examine the influence that advanced stream subjects have on student academic achievement. The analysis using the survey tools leads us to the inference that time management, the language barrier, and the depth of the scientific subjects are the main challenges from the student’s perspective. Based on the analysis, we have suggested solutions to overcome these challenges that the students faced. Those suggestions were implemented successfully in the school and found positive changes.
