Hala Al Khalifa holds a masters degree in Education and International Development from the UCL Institute of Education, London UK. She is currently positioned as a lecturer at the Bahrain Teachers College. She previously worked as a project manager and consultant in the Ministry of Education. Her research focuses on inclusive and special education, educational leadership and early childhood education.
The talk will go over the Bahrain Teacher’s College recent initiative of training special education teachers through a Diploma program with a practical component. It will also go over key training needs and professional development areas for SEN teachers across the region
