Gabriella brings 12 years of experience teaching and leading in the Early Years and Foundation Stage across London and Dubai. She has recently been appointed Founding Head of Early Years at Horizon English School Town Square, set to open next year. Alongside her teaching and leadership qualifications, Gabriella holds a Master's degree in Applied Psychology and is passionate about the role psychology plays in Early Years education and leadership.

Beyond school leadership, Gabriella has supported the development of Early Years practice internationally. Through the Sparkle Foundation, she travelled to Malawi to develop Early Years educators and has also worked in Chile, providing guidance on establishing a child-centred, play-based curriculum.

Central to Gabriella's educational philosophy is developing children's Characteristics of Effective Learning through purposeful play and high-quality interactions. She is particularly passionate about deepening educators' understanding of how to nurture these characteristics. More recently, her work has focused on developing metacognition in young children through meaningful adult-child interactions that encourage reflection, independence and confidence.
