Ammar is a multi-award-winning, Oscar-qualified Film & TV Director, Producer, Film Educator, and Creative Leader with over 16+ years of experience spanning independent cinema, television, branded storytelling, and cultural initiatives.

His work has premiered at the Berlinale, won the HollyShorts Film Festival Grand Prize, become Oscar-qualified, and received recognition at international festivals, including those in Cleveland, Athens, and Amman. As the founder of “thirty ten films”, he develops and produces independent films alongside television, documentaries, and premium branded content for multinational organisations across the GCC, the Middle East, and international markets.

Beyond filmmaking, Ammar is passionate about developing the creative industry through education and cultural impact. For more than a decade, he has taught and mentored emerging filmmakers through universities, film schools, masterclasses, and industry programmes, including collaborations with SAE University College Dubai and Middlesex University Dubai. He has also founded the UAE Creative Local Community, an initiative that connects creatives through mentorship, industry events, and meaningful collaboration, while contributing to the region's growing film and creative ecosystem.
