Anywhere Learning - A Vision for a Decentralized Learning Ecosystem
Session Summary:
Our cities provide rich contexts for learning, with resources beyond what any school could dream of delivering. Yet, our learners are predominantly limited to learning within the confines of the campus. In Green School Bali, we committed a day a week to learning offsite, and saw incredible results. New passions grew, relationships flourished, and young entrepreneurs tested their ideas in the field.
What if we opened our learning models more broadly to this concept, enabling and empowering learners to consider the vast myriad of opportunities a city presents? How would this model look? In this talk, we share and explore a possible future for learning in this manner.
