The Froebelian Approach to Early Years
Session Summary:
An introduction to the Froebelian Approach to early years education, exploring its core principles of play, creativity, and connection with nature. We will discuss how Froebel’s ideas emphasise child-centred, holistic learning and the importance of nurturing curiosity, independence, and relationships. I will also highlight how these principles can be applied in today’s classrooms to create rich, meaningful experiences for young children and to empower educators in their practice.
