Clemmie is an experienced educational leader, having worked cross-sector in the UK, as well as being an Executive Principal in Saudi Arabia from 2023-2025. She was part of the team to create and build inclusive schools in the GCC, the most recent example being Beech Hall School Riyadh. Clemmie also worked as Director of Learning and Learning at Chatsworth Schools and Blenheim Schools from 2021-2023. She is a published author, having written about parental engagement with Dr Emma Kell, and also presented a TEDx talk on 'snowplough parenting' and its impact on resilience in children.

Inclusion, innovation and international culture in the heart of Riyadh
Session Summary:
In this talk, Clemmie will share the experience of imagining, designing and creating a proudly inclusive and innovative international school: the first of its kind in the region. Considering all aspects of how this was done, she will candidly share the considerations made, what went well and lessons learnt for next time! An uplifting and honest talk which will leave attendees with practical ideas and take aways as they look to their own journeys of establishing inclusive cultures in their own settings.
