Nabila Bashir
Director of Business Development and Growth - Queen Rania Teacher Academy
Nabila Bashir is the Director of Business Development and Growth at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA), bringing over two decades of experience spanning strategy, program development, communication, research, teaching, and technology. Additionally, she serves as an evaluator for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in the USA.
Nabila is a Techwomen fellow in a mentorship program by the Department of State in the U.S. and a Middle East Professional Learning (MEPLI) fellow from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She received the "Queen Rania Outstanding Teacher Cambridge Award" in 2012.
Nabila obtained the Certificate in Advanced Education Leadership (CAEL) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She holds a Master's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in Education from the State University of New York (SUNY).

Panel Session: QRTA Excellence Model in Action: Building Future-Ready Schools Through Collaboration
Session Summary:
This dynamic panel will showcase the Queen Rania Teacher Academy’s (QRTA) School-Based Excellence Model, a strategic framework designed to empower schools through targeted, school-level interventions. Centered on the belief that school leaders are catalysts for change, the model strengthens leadership, instructional practices, and data-driven decision-making to foster sustainable transformation in both public and private schools.
Moderated by Nabila Bashir, the panel will highlight the importance of collaboration in education and feature diverse perspectives on excellence:
QRTA will present its model’s impact across Jordanian schools, emphasizing inclusive practices, innovative teaching, and the power of professional learning communities.
Dr. Ghadeer Abu Shamat Executive Vice President from GEMS Centre of Excellence for Arabic Language and culture and Superintendent (CEO) will explore excellence in Arabic language and cultural education, showcasing how the model adapts to regional contexts. Ms. Ingrid Abouzaid from the American University of Beirut will discuss how emerging technologies are shaping future-ready schools and transforming teaching practices.
Together, the panel will demonstrate how strategic partnerships and localized excellence models can drive meaningful change across educational ecosystems.
