From Inclusion to Belonging: Embedding Holistic Wellbeing in Every Classroom

Session Summary:

This session explores how placing wellbeing and holistic care at the heart of school practice transforms learning, engagement, and outcomes for all students, especially those with diverse learning needs. Drawing on my experience as a SENDCo and wellbeing advocate, I’ll share practical strategies and real-life stories from a school culture that prioritises empathy, emotional safety, and human connection. I’ll also introduce a new children’s book I’ve authored—designed as a tool to spark conversations around inclusion, emotions, and identity in the classroom. An inspiring, solution-focused session that blends leadership insight with practical tools for teachers, leaders, and learning support staff—whether you’re just beginning your inclusion journey or deepening your practice.
