VP-Partnerships and Programs - Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation
Mona is a development professional with more than 15 years of experience spanning across diverse international development organizations. She has experience in forging strategic partnerships to design and manage educational and economic empowerment programs focusing on skills development, employment readiness, industry engagement and entrepreneurship.
In her current role as Vice President of Partnerships and Programs at the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation (AGF), Mona oversees strategic partnerships between the Foundation and key stakeholders within the government, private sector, and higher academic institutions in the UAE. As part of the Foundation’s mission to expand its impact, Mona plays a crucial role in developing innovative programs aimed at empowering youth and equipping them with future-facing skills.
Prior to joining AGF, Mona was Program Manager at Drosos Foundation, Economist at the Office of the Minister of Trade and Industry in Egypt and a research affiliate at several institutions.
Mona Completed here BA and MA from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She also obtained a post graduate diploma in Philanthropic Management and Development from Loyalist College in Canada.

Session Summary:
ستتخذ هذه الجلسة شكل حوار جانبي يستكشف اقتصاد المهارات والوضع الراهن للمهارات في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. بالاعتماد على الأبحاث والبيانات من برنامج مسار الغرير التابع لمؤسسة عبد الله الغرير، ستتناول المناقشة المهارات الناشئة التي تم تحديدها من خلال رؤى سوق العمل، وانعكاسات هذه الاتجاهات على مؤسسات التعليم العالي وأصحاب العمل، والأولويات الرئيسية لتطوير مهارات الشباب لإعدادهم لسوق عمل سريع التطور. كما ستتناول المناقشة مفهوم اقتصاد المهارات والتحول المتزايد نحو التوظيف القائم على المهارات.
