Teaching a second language has always been a challenge for learners and teachers. Teachers used to teach the language grammar and vocabulary in an abstract way to help students develop the language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Kids tend to forget most what they have learned once the lesson is finished. CLIL approach is providing opportunities for students to use language to learn rather than learning to use languages which is the core task of language lessons. This case study from my experience as a teacher of language for more than 27 years, proves that learning language in contents causes faster and better acquisition of it.
