Teacher Socials

I am a cycle 2 (primary) teacher in the UAE. I have taught business and Economics, been a school director, business consultant and worked as a Student advisor at the Liverpool Student Union. I started Teacher Socials upon discovering that teachers in the UAE need an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on. Depressed and unmotivated teachers cannot be the best versions of themselves and I believe they only ‘happy teachers teach happy’ We help teachers learn to cope and manage a balance between work and life outside the classroom. Not letting your work life become your whole life.

In this workshop, expat teachers will learn not only how to fulfil their financial goals while working abroad, but understand why it is vital to be financially well. In order to do this, they must determine their financial goals and their timeframe. Then they must make a specific and realistic plan, which includes a budget, to start saving as much as possible each month. I will go through my own top 5 techniques that have motivated me to boost my own savings. Finally, I can talk about factors to consider when financially planning for retirement.
