Remediana Dias is an educationist, author and blogger (https://dyslexiagoa.wordpress.com). She runs her own NGO Vision Education Society. She is currently the member of the Senior Leadership Team of Dubai Scholars Private School and the Head of Foundation Stage.
 
Remediana studied M.Sc in Specific Learning Difficulties from the University of Southampton in UK. She has completed CACHE Level 5 from Early Years Educational Services in Dubai. She holds a Pre-School Learning Alliance (PLA) certification. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Education from Middlesex University, Dubai. Remediana enjoys writing about issues related to education. She is a regular contributor to GESS and Teacher Plus. She is the author of the book ”Understanding Dyslexia-a guide for teachers and parents.
 
Remediana represented India at the International Festival for World Peace at Seoul, South Korea in July 2004. In Dubai she was featured in Gulf News:- http://gulfnews.com/life-style/people/getting-it-right-1.551797 by Ms. Nargish Khambatta—Vice President of GEMS Education, Dubai. Remediana has received several awards in recognition of her work. As a student in UK, she received the EVA Award for Excellence in Volunteering at Southampton University, UK – Student Community Action Volunteer of the year 2006-07. She was recognized as the Indian Achiever among the top 50 under 50 for the year 2020 for her work in the field of education.

Staff well-being has never been more important. Having a healthy team is important to the entire education system, including the well-being and mental health of learners. It should be a central part of a more holistic school approach to mental health. This session offers ideas and strategies on how to implement practices to help improve staff well-being in schools.

Learning Outcomes:

 • The context within which staff stress or unhappiness may develop and how to address it

• Spotting signs of stress in staff

 • Practical ideas to implement in school
