Nuwan Dissanayaka is a teacher from profession and the founder of democratic education movement in Sri Lanka. His research "Feel and Learn" won the gold award for the best educational research at World Conference of Education 2017. He is the author of "Educate The Child To Make Tomorrow Brighter than Today" a hand book for educators. In 2019 He won the Global Teacher Award by AKS Education awards. Moreover, in 2019 he was awarded with the gold award for outstanding contribution for Sri Lankan education. He is the founder of Most Innovative Teacher Award in Sri Lanka and also the founder of "VOICE" event which is a platform for kids around the world. In 2020 he was one of the Finalist at GESS education awards for Best Initiative for Inclusion and Wellbeing.

Sri Lanka is a country where education is delivered to students in a very traditional way. The education policies within the country changes overnight and this has caused tragic moments with in the country loosing many lives. This clearly shows that there is a huge problem in our education. Aiming these issues I started "Sri Lankan Dreams" to fix these issues and to make sure no more lives will loss in the future. Project Sri Lankan Dream started targeting all four categories Students, Society, Teachers and Education policy makers. In this speech I will discuss regarding experiences we gained from our project and as a general format how we can implement it in any country which has multicultural community and to maintain harmony among them.
