Nicholas Orland is a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) who is the Managing Director of Autism Rocks!, a support centre located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Nicholas is also an adjunct professor in Applied Behavior Analysis at Endicott College (located in Beverly, Massachusetts). He is currently pursing his Doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis, in which his research interests are staff and parent training.

Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) program assessments and curriculum guides (such as PEAK a nd VB - MAPP) are essential hallmarks of an ABA program. However, these assessments have a lot of practical utility outside of traditional ABA environments. The application of these tools can be utilized in school environments, which can assist with identification of objective goals which can be utilized in a learner's IEP. This workshop will review how ABA assessment can be utilized in classroom settings, and how they can enhance IEP goal setting.
