His Highness Sheikh Mohammed visits govt innovative lab and Calls for generation of more innovative ideas
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has stressed that the UAE government exerts utmost efforts to support the pioneer innovative initiatives that could bring happiness to the UAE community.
He called for developing non-traditional methods to generate more innovative ideas and motivate those who contribute them, as their ideas could bolster the comprehensive development process in the UAE led by the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Sheikh Mohammed made the remarks while paying an inspection visit to the "Government Innovative Laboratory" organised by the Ministry of Education at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Dubai. He exchanged views with the audience.
"I have confidence in Emirati youth and expect their great contributions towards their country. I expect them to come up with more creative ideas that could be transformed into projects that would inspire the world; hence, advancing their country to rank the best in the world by 2021", he said,
Sheikh Mohammed noted, "We are very pleased by the accomplishment of the young generation who have left innovative marks to be remembered throughout the history and we are proud of them, being the ones who will create a milestone in the all fields in order to better serve their country and people".
Earlier, Sheikh Mohammed had instructed the adoption of the Government Innovative Lab experience at all the federal public institutions to enhance government services and tackle field challenges in the wake of huge success achieved by the Government Innovative Lab during the Cabinet retreat session held at Sair Bani Yas Island.
He was accompanied during the tour by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Education Humaid Al Qattami, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and a number of senior officials of the Ministry of Education.
