With MODI, anyone can create IoT and robotic devices. Want to make something? Just connect the magnetic modules in any direction and any order. Don’t know how to code? No problem! With MODI, coding is as easy as dragging and dropping code blocks in MODI Studio.
The MODI Expert Kit contains at least one of every module we make. In total there are 21 modules, and they are color coded according to function. Input modules are purple, output modules are orange, and setup modules are yellow. In the Expert Kit you’ll find a button, dial, microphone, proximity sensors, gyroscopic sensors, environment sensors, motors, a speaker, LED, display module, network modules, and battery modules. It’s got everything you need to make thousands of projects.
MODI’s mission is to make coding education as fun and intuitive as possible. The magnetic modules connect automatically and work out of the box. Add more functionality by dragging and dropping code blocks using MODI Studio on a computer or tablet, then uploading the code to MODI modules. You can even control MODI modules using the MODI Play mobile app. Modules are sturdy, safe, and color-coded according to function.
MODI is also compatible with LEGO. Build anything you want with your LEGO bricks, then bring it to life with MODI modules. Every module can be securely attached to LEGO, so go ahead and use the LEGO you already have and make something colorful and exciting!
You can take your creativity to the next level with 3D printing. MODI modules can be easily added to just about anything you can think of.
