GESS Brain Teaser 2

It's September 2013 and that means one thing: it's 145 years since the discovery of helium. Accordingly, the world's foremost chemists and physicists have each contributed a few quid in order to throw a great celebratory bash — it's going to be pretty mental. As you drive to the party (you'd be mad not to go) you can't help but think about the movements of the helium balloon (it would be rude not to bring one) you've tied to your handbrake. As you turn round a corner, let's say towards the left, which way does the balloon move? More importantly, why?

Post your guesses on @gesseducation and keep your eyes on our social media channels next week when we'll post the answer!
