When I was six years old, I invented my own drum-set from cooking oil tins and at 14, I would sneak from home and pay for his piano lessons using savings from my lunch money because my parents never wanted to hear any of this music learning "business". My love for music never wavered as I grew older instead it morphed into a great need to enrol for Music classes at Gym Music school (Kenya,) sit Associated board of Royal Schools of Music (U.K based exams) and Kindermusik international University. I was later employed on the same school as a Music instructors but it was wound up in the year 2004. I identified a gap in the market hence the need to start a Music School. This is how International Maestro Centre (IMC) was officially launched on 27th November 2010. It was created to cater for the growing needs of students keen to learn music and yet they did not have opportunity. I'm currently furthering my education at Daystar university.
