Christopher Blackwood

I am the Assistant Head for Coaching, Innovation and Learning at Emirates International School, where I focus on bringing emerging educational technologies into the classroom. With a Master’s degree in Primary Pedagogy and Professional Practice, along with Google Level 1 and 2 Educator certifications, and current enrolment on the NPQSL, I ground innovation in evidence-based teaching practices and curriculum impact.

Leading an AI action research group has enabled the implementation of impactful tools across the school, and contributed to our involvement in the ISC Global AI Study. In addition, I collaborate on wider educational research projects, including with CEAR. My work is driven by a belief in the power of curiosity, engagement, and personalisation — ensuring every learner thrives through thoughtfully integrated digital learning.
