The term innovation has been first used back in the 16th century. It referred to new ideas or improved ones. In education, innovation has been part of the scholar’s constant search for new improved methodologies that would positively influence students’ performance, academic achievement, and link it to their future career. The term might have not been used much in the past 10 years, however, the search for best practices in education in itself is what innovation all about according to its definition. This session will shed light to the creative behaviors that will lead to change in terms of linking research to practice, educating for creative thinking and solution designing.
