Eman Hamshari is a GEMS English teacher, part of the GEMS-X innovation team, which is the future-focused R&D arm of GEMS Education. She is also the school representative for the EXPO 2020 school program, and has participated in events speaking and giving breakout sessions / workshops about future careers, future of education, innovation impact on education and similar topics. She is currently part of the organizing team of the upcoming Global Innovation Challenge. She has a masters in education with a major in leadership. With over 13 years of experience, she covered the full education spectrum from teaching, curriculum advising, adopting innovation in schools creatively dealing with challenging cases using design thinking approaches.

In a world of constant change and innovation, the need for an education that prepare and achieve a change to how the new generation learn is essential to develop current mindsets to face upcoming future challenges.
The aim of this workshop is to unlock students’ creative potentials with innovative approaches that would help them behave and perform like design thinkers when tackling real world problems for the purpose of improving the future wellbeing of humanity.
